Sabudana Vadiyalu is one of the most famous and delectable papads in Indian cuisine. Sabudana papad is produced using sabudana, which are tapioca pearls, as the name suggests. Papads or Vadiyalu are thin, flat, round-shaped food dishes made from grains, lentils, or potatoes that are deep-fried and served with Indian meals. The main ingredient is used to make either a porridge or a dough for papads.

METHOD AND PROCESS INVOLVED IN PREPARATION

We wash and soak the sabudana properly in a good amount of water, so as the sabudana becomes completely soft on pressing. Once they become softer we boil these sabudana with water, green chilli, cumin seeds, and salt. We bring it to a thick porridge consistency and spread it one by one on plastic sheets. 

The ingredients involved in making these sabudana Biyyappindi Vadiyalu are sabudana pearls, cumin seeds, green chilli, water and salt.

Vitamin B6 and folate are two critical elements for the correct development of the foetus, and Sabudana is high in both. The healthy development of the brain can be ensured by consuming sabudana.
