Venna vundalu or sweet butter balls is a traditional sweet made in south Indian homes during auspicious occasions like Krishna Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi. These balls also make a perfect snack to munch on in the evenings or any time you crave for a light, healthy and yet a nutritious snack to satisfy your sweet tooth.

The delightful crispy texture on the outside and soft on the inside brings in a succulent taste and melts in your mouth leaving you for craving more and more. We make this recipe with healthy alternatives like rice flour instead of maida(all purpose flour) and jaggery instead of sugar, making it a healthy snack to nibble on for kids and adults alike. 
As for the preparation of Venna vundalu and ingredients:
Soft dough is prepared using rice flour, fresh butter and pinch of salt adding very little amount of water. Dough is kneaded well and made in to bite sized balls, these balls are fried in hot oil till they turn golden-brown. Balls are added to do Jaggery syrup and ensured that sweet is consistent. Balls are then cooled and are ready to eat.
Ingredients: rice flour, butter, jaggery, oil, cardamom 
One way to gain healthy fat is only through butter which is rich in protein, carbohydrates and vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin D and vitamin K2. Jaggery boosts immunity with rich in iron content.
